Favorite things to do in the area/places to eat: We didn’t get to do too much, but there are several farms and winery’s in the surrounding area. We went to downtown Lodi one day and had dinner at the Dancing Fox winery and brewery. It was delicious. Rachel simply loved it.
We also took a short ride to Old Sacramento Historical area on the weekend. It was pretty cool to see some of the old buildings from the 1800’s that have been fully restored and do a little shopping.
Recommended: Yes. We had a nice shady spot and the park is a quiet and peaceful. It is also only an hour drive to Napa and Sacramento and only 1 1/2 hours to San Francisco.
